Funny What A Song Can Do....

So yesterday I was having myself a pity party! I started off doing great...thought I'd tackle laundry to get my mind off of things....it doesn't work I tried.

Your mind wanders...you know the typical questions that you already know the answer to but ask yourself anyways...

~Why us?
~Where was I the day his/her heart stopped beating...
~What could I have done differently?
~Who is he/she playing with in Heaven?
~Will the next pregnancy be ok?
~I wanted my baby so much....how long will this last sad feeling last?
~How long will the physical healing process take?

Some people say ...
"it's for the best"...."you have 4 beautiful children already"..."these things happen"...blah blah...I know I know, but it doesn't make losing this little one any easier! We planned for him/her and were over the moon thrilled and to find out that one month prior he/she stopped growing hurts!!

So yesterday Lils and I were watching Nick Jr and a song came on in between shows...It really caught my attention and brightened my heart and brought tears of joy to my eyes...What was the song you ask?

Bob Marley's Three Little Birds

Funny how a song can move you so! It helps to remember God has a plan and everything will be alright. It doesn't make it hurt less...just helps put things in perspective!
Also knowing I'm not alone and hearing other people's stories has helped....I've had a lot of questions about the healing etc...and so I thank everyone for sharing ....

I didn't forget about my Giveaway...I'm sorry for not posting sooner!!!!

The winner of the Earth Mama Angel Baby is....
Annie at Our Little Family congrats Annie!!!

So share what songs pick you up and make you smile?

Hang in there. I am so sorry for what you are having to go through right now. You are right, God does have a plan, but I know it is so hard to see in the midst of the rain. Praying for you. XOXO

That has always been one of my favorite songs and so glad it helped even if only a little. We never fully understand God's plan but our Faith in Him carries us always.
Each and every pregnancy is special and IS meant to be.
Sending you hugs and prayers.

Sorry for what you must be facing :/. I can't even begin to imagine what that feeling is like. I will pray for you and your family though that God will continue to pour out his blessings and give you a peace that he is there, he is in control and he has your best interest in mind. :) A song that I love to hear when I'm having "one of those days" is Michael Buble's "I'm feeling good". It's just a jazzy upbeat and fun song. Stay strong - the enemy loves nothing more than to try you when you are weak!

I am so sorry for your loss. I too went through a miscarriage before I had my Collin, and it is amazing how God will put a song in your heart at the right time to remind you that while we don't understand why these things happen, He is still good, and He is still in control. Praying for you!

Oh, from one mama to the other, I'm so sorry Laura! The loss of a human life is nothing to dismiss and your heart will always have a part of it that hurts. I think about the two babies we lost (both planned) and still wonder what they would have been. So sorry!

Laura,
First off I'm so sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how hard this must be. Your baby is in the loving arms of Jesus now!
This verse always brings me peace when I'm having a hard time...I hope it encourages you! Many prayers headed your way!
"As for God, His way is perfect;
the Word of the Lord is flawless,
He is a shield for all who take refuge in Him."
Psalm 18:30

I foudn you from Taylors blog and I just want to come spread a little love. I had a miscarriage in October, I was 10 weeks pregnant. I was devestated, and at times I still am. I however have dealt with it by blogging, being honest with myself, allowing myself to cry and heal... and remembering that God has a plan and everything happens for a reason.

Praying for you, thinking of you, and sending lots and lots of love your way! XO

It is so hard to make sense of it. I know I tried to and never could...but accepting that it was God's plans helped me move past it. You're gonna be ok lady!

Ok, so what has been going on while I have been absent. Everything went to *@#$%*. Excuse the punctuation. But, what is going on around here. Everyone was all in Babyland and now...this.

I don;t want to be flippant. I am so frustrated at what has transpired, I just don;t know what to say...

I'm crying for the second time today, and I feel like I'm getting hot flashes.

I am so sorry for your loss, I don't even know where to begin. There is nothing to say. Nothing that can make it any better. I know that. Nothing that can change what has happened.

Gods hands. Gods plan. We are the performers, and life is his masterpiece. We work through God and you have to trust that he is with you...

"I didn't leave you.
During your times of trial
and suffering, when you see only
one set of footprints,
that was when I carried you".

I am giving you my heart and my love today. You are in my prayers and thoughts everyday until I know you no longer need them.

I do not think anything makes losing a little one easier no matter how many children you have...why would anyone say that. Beautiful song.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I can't imagine the pain you must feel. I'm certainly keeping you and Taylor both in my thoughts and prayers. It's so sad. Sweet Caroline always makes me feel better for some reason. It's hard not to smile and sing along. :)

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. This is such a great song, I just taught it to my daughter the other day...I thought...this is a song she needs to know! And now my hubby is always humming it and we're all getting remembering not to worry...God has a plan!
